Joyce Catherine Oldland

The cherished wife of Rob Monteleone and adored mother of Amber (Mauricio), Robyn and Carly. Predeceased by her parents, Gord (1999) and Kay Oldland (2022) as well as her in-laws Sam (1998) and Bernice Monteleone (2016). Joyce was a proud grandmother to Sebastien, Benjamin and Sam. Dear sister of the late Gord (Donna) Oldland (2022) and Richard Oldland. Sister in law to Deb (Denis) Petrucci, Gary Monteleone, Mike (Lynda) Monteleone, Liz Monteleone and Jamie (Tracey) Monteleone. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews; Dane (Amanda), Joey, Dan, Andrew, Peter, Andrea, Eric and Steven. Joyce will forever be remembered in the hearts of her many friends, cousins and extended family members.

Joyce loved to showcase her creative side through ceramics and painting. We’ll remember her working tirelessly every Halloween to hand sew our costumes, making sure they were perfect and staying up late to make special treats for our school bake sales. There was nothing that she enjoyed more than spending time with her three grandsons and watching them grow. For nearly 45 years by each others side, Joyce built with Rob a life full of simple pleasures, the kind that matter most and memories that will live on through him in her absence. Now reunited with her precious Dolly, Joyce’s loving and kindhearted ways will never be forgotten.

In keeping with Joyce’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the service to celebrate Joyce’s life at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Niagara Falls.
