Peacefully surrounded by his family on January 11, 2013 at the age of 78 at Hotel Dieu Shaver after a courageous 7 year battle with cancer. Survived by his loving wife Linda of 50 yrs. Sadly missed by his son Lawrence, daughter Michelle ( Joe) Baldinelli, loving Nono to Domenika, Jared, Karlee, & his best buddy Jayden, they will all miss their Nonoman. Beloved brother to Jeannie (Larry) Scaletta, Mary Gaetan, & Domenic (Leda) DalCin. Predeceased by Ado, Emilio & his parents Matilda & Giovanni. Brother-in-law to Bill Keen, Bud (Eileen) Keen, Pat & Ken Hare. He will be sadly missed by several nephews, nieces and friends. Chick worked as a meter reader for Hydro for 35 yrs & as a baseball player on the Niagara Falls Wall of Fame he loved watching his grandchildren play sports.
In keeping with Chick’s wishes, cremation & a private inurnment has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Church, 4673 Victoria Avenue on Wednesday January 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to Hospice Niagara can be made through HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Avenue Niagara Falls.
