Livia Paladino

PALADINO, Livia (nee Fratoianni) - Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Tuesday May 11, 2021 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of over 68 years to Angelo Paladino and cherished mother of Mary (John) Everrett, Pat Paladino, Tony (Teresa) Paladino, Dino (the late Nina) Paladino. Loving Nonna of Vanessa (Jim), Deana (Chandler), Falicia (Stephan), Laura (Thomas), Anthony (Samantha), Michael (Taylor), Tanya (Korey) and dear sister of Anita and Angela of Italy. She will be sadly missed by her brother-in-law Domenic (Anna) Paladino, many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in Italy, England and Denmark, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Pasquale and Rosalina, sisters Maria, Elena (the late Benito), brothers-in-law Roberto, Isidoro, Gennaro (the late Florence), Antonio (the late Lucia). She will be remembered for her kind, loving and generous nature and always thinking of others before herself. Special thanks to caregiver Angela Miller and the Doctors and Nursing Staff at GNGH for their compassionate care. Respecting the current government restrictions of COVID-19 (see www.TheBAO.ca), friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, on Friday from 4 to 7 pm. It is required that guests prebook appointment times for visitation by calling the funeral home at 905-358-3513 (between 9 am and 5 pm). A private Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Scapular Church and Rite of Entombment at Fairview Mausoleum will follow. In memory of Mrs. Paladino, memorial contributions may be made to Heart Niagara or Project Share and would be appreciated.
