Jan and I were very to hear the news of Auntie Lois's passing! Please accept our heartfelt condolences! We wish that we could be there with you at this time! Unfortunately,  we find ourselves out of the province and not able to return in time. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you! Aunt Lois was a real life, personal heroine of ours. So that being said, we have to conclude, that she now resides in a very special place in Heaven; befitting all her good deeds & life's focus on Earth. She was an incredible role model; facing all obstacles head on, vanquishing whatever possible & bravely surviving the rest. She is surrounded by God, the Angels, Uncle Chuck & the spirits of beloved, departed family members. That is true, because she was First, Foremost & Always devoted to family & them to her. Everything she did, spoke to that very truth. Family & her powerful Faith inspired & sustained her. Her commitment of love, time & energy, to & for family never wavered; no matter what she was personally going through. (She didn’t just care about family though; she cared about ALL people (of ALL sorts) & the Natural World & ALL related issues, as well.) Together, Aunt Lois & Uncle Chuck raised & supported a very fine family of many generations (a dynasty of love). They accomplished this together, through good times, triumphs & many challenging times. After Uncle Chuck passed, she continued to display her great resiliency & strength, to the conclusion of her life. She was a very rare human being; who often listened intently, whenever an individual or persons gave voice to their concerns or struggles. She always demonstrated a very uncommon wealth of patience, love, compassion, kindness, thoughtfulness, intelligence & wisdom. There were quite simply, no limitations to her sacrifices & exhaustive efforts to help & console family members, other loved ones & anyone in need. We experienced & witnessed these traits repeatedly. Including when David became ill & subsequently passed on & when Myron, her sister Barbara & later Jack also all became very seriously ill. She was very sensitive to other’s feelings; which always brought out her natural motherly instincts, love & protectiveness.

We are very sorry to hear of Lois' passing. We are sending love and our deepest condolences to the entire Mann family xo ❤

...On the lighter side, she had a very gregarious & fun-loving personality & down to Earth style, that put everyone at ease. She loved to laugh & did so, frequently. She knew how to live life to the fullest & throw a great party. She was the ultimate hostess. She was the Queen of desserts; constantly mastering & improving upon new recipes for delicious epicurean delights of every variety. Amazingly, throughout her entire life, she maintained a very sincere & youthful curiosity about everyone & almost everything. She balanced her many passionate interests & activities with experience & her acquired wisdom led to exceptional counsel. She faced her many health crises with grace, courage, valour & quiet, calm & remarkable strength. She was very positive, yet insightful & realistic in all things. Such a huge presence in life, leaves an equally great void (by their absence) in our hearts & lives (albeit, unintentionally). Our hearts & prayers go out to ALL her & the families affected & ALL the lives she touched. She is deeply missed. She will always be remembered for the depth & breadth of her love & devotion & generosity of spirit & self. Thank you for everything, all these years, Aunt Lois. Peace be with you. Until we meet again.
