My brother-in-law Lucio,a selfless man,kind and generous person.  A very loving husband to Maria and loving father to his children.  Being the joker in the family, I was glad that i was able to make you laugh on your last few days by letting you read the "Bisaya" Filipino jokes and you told me that you were touched by reading the Get well soon card that Steve and I gave you. You will always be remembered Cio. Thank you for the times that we have spent with you. Thank you for helping meg get her first job in Canada. You are a good man.  Thank you for loving my sister Maria. You are now in the arms of our Lord. Rest in peace Cio..We will miss you..

Lucio was the big brother I never had. I wish we had more time with him here in this life. Rhorette and I regret not being able to be with the family now because of our distance. But we share with everyone the pain and sadness of losing a loved one. We pray for Lucio's peaceful rest. God bless his soul.

May you find rest in the presence of our Lord. We may not have the chance to really get to know you but during our brief visit to Canada, you made us feel special. You took the time to take us to the places where we wouldn't have been able to go with our tour group. Thank you, Lucio. You will always be remembered.

We will always remember Lucio as a fun-loving and cheerful person. One who was always quick with his playful humor. Beyond that, he was caring, kind and generous. He was a good family man and a reliable elder brother.  He has gone through meaningful changes in his life, and a lot of us, his family and friends, were with him in that journey. Lucio will be sadly missed and we thank him for sharing his life with us. He is now with God and there he finds eternal peace.  Though we are far away in the Philippines, our love and prayers go to Babie (Maria) and Brian, Anna and Elcid.

I've known Lucio for a long time. I've seen his ups and downs. But there was one thing that never changed in this man's life, it was his integrity. He was always there for everyone who needed him. He was a loyal friend, a loving husband and Dad, a good son. He made everyone laugh with his jokes, a leader of the band.... The best time of my life was when he went vacation with my sister Babie, his wife, to the U.S. in 2011. We had a blast. We had great bonding moments, saw many places and talked about the good old days. This is how I will remember you, brother. I will forever missed your presence but I know that you are in a better place. May the Good Lord always keep you in His bosom.

Growing up I always looked up to my Uncle Cio, literally.  He was so tall and had a certain presence about him.  I knew that whenever he is around everything is okay.  He always made us feel safe.   I've never met anyone who can make people laugh so hard that they start crying.  He was always the LIFE of the party.  He lived life to the fullest teaching me the importance of hardwork and family.  He was the ultimate family man and luckily for me he brought me up as one of his own.  My Uncle and Auntie refers to me as their eldest child and I am very honored and forever grateful for taking me in as their own.  I know how much he loved his children and how much they love him back.  He would do anything for them and they would do anything for him.  Death is only the beginning.  He has left us with a lifetime of legacy and time honored values that will never be forgotten.  He left this world knowing that he is loved by many and that he has served his purpose in the Lord.  Now he is in heaven watching over us.  He is constantly in our minds and in our hearts.  I see him in my dreams and I feel his happiness.  Heaven just gained the funniest and best looking Angel that they will ever have.  I will miss you so much Uncle Cio and I will never forget you.

Happy memories from good old times in Cebu.....brings a smile in me every time I look back....life well lived! Rest in peace....

May God bless his soul and may the healing begin.  He has touched many a lives here on earth as he will up in heaven.  Thank you God for lending Uncle Cio to us.  He has done well here in the world and may he live in eternal bliss with you in your kingdom Amen.
