
Mary Josephine Flynn (Registered Nurse) born April 12, 1924 passed away peacefully on March 5th, 2015 at Upper Canada Lodge, NOTL, Ontario. Mary was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario and grew up in the Niagara area before starting her nursing career. After training at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, Mary worked in several hospitals throughout Canada and the United States, including: GNGH in Niagara Falls, Ontario and New York; Washington D.C.; Truro, Nova Scotia; and Moosonee Ontario. Mary leaves two sisters, Patricia Flynn, in Ottawa, and Stella Rodgers in NOTL; nieces and nephews, Maureen Singh, Kathleen Hall, Kevin King, David King, Michael Rodgers, David Rodgers, and Cam Rodgers. She also leaves old friends, Rose and Mel Lalonde and others. A special thank-you to the nurses and staff at Upper Canada Lodge and Dr. Bertie for the loving care provided to Mary over the last several years.

In keeping with Mary’s wishes cremation and interment has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to the charity of your choice in Mary's
name and can be made through Hetherington and Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls.
