It is with heavy hearts the family of Peter Donald Floyd announce his sudden passing on Friday January 9th, 2015. Beloved companion to Margaret de Ridder, loving father to Neil & Jason. Best friend to his siblings Barbara (Gord) Beattie, Ken (Nancy), Sally (Al) Vadneau and Sue Floyd and by his many nieces & nephews. Peter’s passing will leave a profound mark on his many friendships. Peter was a valued employee of Rankin Construction until his retirement in October 2011 after 38 years of service and has left his mark on many bridges in the Niagara Region both big and small. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rankin Cancer Run or Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
The family will receive visitors at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls on Monday January 12th from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday January 13th at 11:00am. Cremation to follow.
