Belated condolences to Lisa and other members of Peter's extended family. I just learned of Peter's passing via the latest Loyola Today bulletin. Peter and I, along with Paul Schibli, were best friends during childhood. We all went to St. Monica's school together in Montreal, and then Loyola College High School, where each of our brothers had gone earlier as well. Our parents were best of friends as well: Our mothers all played bridge together, and our fathers poker. They were all very active in the parish church. In my grade school years I spent many happy hours in Peter's home near the Loyola campus. His parents welcomed me as a member of the family. The last time I saw Peter ( with Lisa ) was at my mother's funeral in Montreal, in 1988. God rest his soul. Gerry Graham, AMDG

We were very sad to hear of Peter’s passing. We all met in Aruba from Kathy and George.  Peter always stopped by our hut on his way leaving the beach.  It was such pleasure knowing both of you.  You are in our prayers.  Joe and Marie

Uncle Peter was a very kind and fun man.  In all of my memories, he is always smiling and laughing.  He really loved all of you.  Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Peter was a wonderful friend, an avid hockey fan (Go Habs Go!), loved his family and a great story teller. His smile would light up a room.

Dear Chris, Lisa, Alison and Mike … the loss of Peter is so difficult and heartbreaking … throughout our many years of friendship and travel together, he has been a huge part of our lives and special memories … we will always fondly remember his wonderful sense of humour and entertaining story telling … Peter’s love and pride of family was always part of any discussion with him … these special memories of Peter will continue to be an important part of the Harland Crescent ‘family’.

So sorry to hear of Peter's passing. whenever we met he was always very friendly. He will be sorely missed.

Peter, Chris and family invaded Ajax about 38 years and very fortunate for us they bought a house on Harland Cr. Lisa was sent across the street to meet and greet followed shortly by Pete & Chris. Their stay lasted over 4 hours and then and there they became members of the Harland gang. Peter was a family man, loved sports and cards and parties. We played slow pitch baseball and Sunday morning football. Saturday nights spent watching the Habs play the Leafs. It seems like only yesterday but many things have changed. Peter in your new home in heaven you will be greeted by Joyce and Ann & Jim (all Leaf fans - take it easy on them) You have left us with many amazing memories.

It is difficult to put into words how profoundly this has affected our family. Peter was such a great guy … fun loving and ever humorous … but more importantly, fiercely proud of and totally in love with his family. Our hearts go out to you all.

We are so sorry for your loss. Peter was a true family man, a good husband and a proud father and grandfather. How much he loved his family was evident in the conversations we had over the years. He was a fantastic brother-in-law and his great sense of humor made it always a pleasure to be around him. He was a really nice guy. We will miss him and never forget him.

We only met Peter once at a family birthday in Kingston, but it was so evident he was so loved and cherished by his grandchildren and by Lisa and Alison who attended. I got to know him more through Lisa that he had a big heart and was always there for them.  It is a big void in your life right now, but let the happy memories get you all through this difficult time.  Thinking of you all.
