HUGHES, Rita - Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Monday, September 16, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Hughes (2000). Dearly loved mother of the late Jim, Paul (Mary Louise) and Evelyn. Cherished Nana of Colin, Erin, Elaine and Brendan. Dear sister of Bernice (Jim) Gruber. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Thursday from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. A Funeral Service in celebration of her life will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Mrs. Hughes donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by her family.
