It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ross on December 19, 2013 in his 96th year, while surrounded by his family. Predeceased by wife Julia (Oct-2004). Surviving are his son Richard, with his wife Joanne, and their daughters Sarah (Matt) Coates and Eva (Aaron) Filer; and his daughter Debra, with her husband Robert Hanna, and their sons, Jeffery (Monica) and Jeremy. Also survived by Great Grandson Westin Coastes. Ross was a former member of the Niagara Falls Kiwanis, Past President of the Niagara Falls Curling Club, and a former member of Willo Dell Golf Club.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue, on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 2:30 PM with memorial visitation from 1:30 – 2:30 PM. Cremation has taken place. In memoriam contributions to the Meals on Wheels Program or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
