MacKENZIE, Thomas Alexander - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Tuesday December 8, 2015 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Anita MacKenzie. Cherished father of Ian (Colleen) MacKenzie and Bruce (Paulette) MacKenzie, and loving grandfather of Nicole MacKenzie and Natasha (Alessandro) Marone. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Celia MacLean and Beverly Melnyk, sisters-in-law Brenda (Dave) Linton and Rhodena (Terry) MacKinnon and brothers-in-law Dennis (Joan) Pearson, Austin Pearson and Ronald (Dolores) Pearson. Mr. MacKenzie is predeceased by his sister Dee Dee, brothers Johnny and Andrew and his brother-in-law George. Mr. MacKenzie served in both the Second World War and the Korean War with the Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry. He worked for Ontario Hydro and also worked for General Motors until his retirement, after 30 years of service. Cremation has taken place, with a Memorial Service to take place at a later date.
