Tina Ross Oldenburg

Tina Elyse (Ross) Oldenburg, July 9, 1956-November 23, 2010 of South Windsor, Connecticut, passed away Tuesday November 23, 2010 at Bay State Medical, Springfield Massachusetts. Tina will be greatly missed by her loving husband Roy Oldenburg and her son Aaron who were both at her bedside in her final moments. She is the cherished and much loved daughter of Murdock N. (Nick) Ross, Niagara Falls, and the late Eileen Ross (1994). Loved sister of Christopher Ross (Karen), and the late Alan Ross (1986). Dearly loved stepdaughter of Judy Ross and stepsister of Adam Prest (Christine). She is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Tina was employed in the fashion industry for many years and won numerous Honours for her work. She latterly managed a fashion shop in West Hartford, Connecticut. During her career in Hartford, she was cited twice for outstanding contributions to the fashion industry. Tina attended Cherrywood Elementary school in Niagara Falls and graduated from A.N. Myer. She was a “Do Gooder” all her life whether at home or at Sears where she worked before marrying and moving to the United States. It was a long, hard and difficult battle against the ravages of Cancer but the battle became increasingly painful and unbearable. Tina bore this with dignity and grace.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Tina’s life will be held in the funeral chapel of HETHERINGTON AND DEANS, 5176 Victoria Ave. on Saturday July 9, 2011 at 2 PM. The Family will receive friends in the chapel from noon until service time at 2 o’clock.
