Vera was such a special person. Always a unique perspective and wonderful to be with. So full of her own brand of insight, energy and humor. She had so many interests, so much knowledge, an unending curiosity about the world. I always feel fortunate to have had so much time with her. Truly one of a kind. I’m so sorry she is gone. 

I had the pleasure of teaching Vera piano for twenty plus yers.  She was a fine pianist and we laughed a lot at her rhythmic interpretations.."Vera" style.  We shared news about concerts, music, ballets,  travel and she attended some events at my arts club...Heliconian Hall. She even tried to take care of my elderly cat while I travelled.  Since Hazel did so poorly, she brought her home and contacted my neighbour. Her concern for animals, particularly cats,  was wonderful.  We shared this as well.
I miss her so much.  My condolences to her family.  This is a great loss for us all.

Vera was a true friend, with the ability to connect even after months or years apart. She had a wonderful spirit, great curiosity and a never-ending enthusiasm for adventure. I will cherish my decades-long memories of times spent with her. 
She will be missed very much. My most sincere condolences to her family.

Vera was a wonderful friend, all through high school and university and in the years following. She will be greatly missed and remembered fondly. Our sincere condolences to her family at this difficult time.

Vera and I both earned a biology and MBA degree from Queen's at the same time. Vera had terrific energy and curiosity about the world. I admired her piano talent. We had some wonderful outdoor cycling and hiking trips together many years ago. Over the past few years I enjoyed hearing about the history courses she was taking at U of T  - a passion for lifelong learning. Vera joined my family for my 70th birthday party dinner last year. She had a special place in my heart.  I will miss your wonderful friendship, dear Vera. You were beautiful in every way. Love and condolences to the family. 

Vera and I were piano students at the same studio for many years. I met her at gatherings to play our music. Vera always played beautifully and with great feeling. I remember how movingly she described what music meant to her.

My prayers, thoughts, and condolences to Mark and his family on the passing of their beautiful Vera.  I always admired my cousin for her sophistication, independence, intelligence, and her flair for everything art and travel.  I remember fondly my mom looking forward to sitting down with Vera to have a chat about their cats.  May God bless Vera and guide her on her journey.
