ROSSI, Vince - Passed away suddenly at his home, while indulging in his passion for gardening, on Tuesday May 24, 2022 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of 50 years to Eileen Rossi (nee McCauley). Dearly loved father of Julia (Kevin) Johnson, Susanna (Adrienne) Frazao and Anthony (Jennifer) Rossi. Cherished Nonno of Owen, Eve, Ella, Bella, Ruby, Juliette, Eli and Isaac. Dear brother of Pina (Luigi) Evangelisti, Louie (Jane) Rossi and Dino (Mary) Rossi and brother-in-law of Debbie Rossi and Maureen Pay. Predeceased by his parents Camilla and Vittorio Rossi and his brother Dante Rossi. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Vince had worked as a systems operator for Canadian Niagara Power, retiring after 25 plus years of service. Vince’s wife Eileen, and his grandchildren, were the light of his life. A soccer goalie legend in Niagara and beyond, he impressed at the highest level of the sport. A generous friend to all who knew him. A life lived to the fullest, that will live on through his wife Eileen and his children and grandchildren. You are finally flying like in your dreams. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Saturday 1 to 4 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 4 pm at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Fairview Columbarium.
