Wayne at the age of 88 was the beloved husband of Bernice Adams. Passionate Thoroughbred horse owner of Shocking Dancer and many others, and loving father of Mark (Tracey) and Dean (Sheila). Fondly remembered by Bernice’s daughters Kimberlee (Ken Thogersen) and Michelle (Chris Lancaster). Proud supportive “Gramps” of Aleeshia (John), Brad (Ally) and Erika (Brodie). Dearly missed by Melina, Alyssa (Micah), Alleyce (David), and Alana. Much loved great grandfather of Lily and Peyton. A special place in his heart for Bernice’s great grandchildren; Genevieve, Gwenevere, Elijah, Hunter, Adam and Arthur. Wayne was predeceased by his first wife, Elizabeth “Betty” in 1995.
A hardworking man who retired from GM, he was able to fully embrace his great passion of Horse Racing. When not at the track or tending to his horses, Wayne could often be found on the golf course, enjoying many memorable rounds with family and friends.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the EMS, Police, and the Emergency Department staff at Greater Niagara General Hospital, for their phenomenal and very compassionate care. We are especially grateful to the incredible team on Unit D, whose kindness and professionalism provided strength and comfort during a profoundly difficult time. Our heartfelt thanks go to nurses Justine, Aylah, and Pam; your exceptional care, empathy, and presence meant more than words can express. You were a source of peace in a moment of heartbreak, and we will never forget your support.
