Wayne Stevens

STEVENS, Wayne - It is with profound sadness that we announce the  passing of Wayne at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday June 18, 2024 at the age of 77. Beloved and devoted husband of 57 years to Diane (nee Sokulsky). Loving father of Stephanie (Terry) Molkoski and Michael (Christal) Stevens. Cherished grandfather of Ken (Ashley) Molkoski, Nicholas Molkoski, Kyle Molkoski, Clayton Stevens, Owen Stevens and great-grandfather of Violet and Kennedy. Wayne will be lovingly missed by his brother Lorne (Dianne) Stevens and nephews Charles (Sue) Stevens and Christopher (Stacey) Stevens. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Muriel (nee Keller) Stevens. Wayne was so devoted to his family - he was happiest when surrounded by his loving wife and his children, especially when spending time at the cottage on Georgian Bay. He was very proud of his work accomplishments as a Chief First Class Stationary Engineer for Cadbury Foods for over 30 years, and was endeared and respected by those who worked for him over many years. As a self-employed consultant, he owned EFM consulting and had developed a proprietary patent. Wayne's legacy of love, kindness and generosity will forever be remembered. His visits with friends and family would always include Wayne's contagious laughter. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Saturday June 22, 2024 from 11 am to 1 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm at the funeral home. Interment  will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
