Wesley 'Butch' John Sider

SIDER, John, Wesley 'Butch' - Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday May 12, 2024 at the age of 82. Beloved father of John Sider. Cherished grandfather of Nick (Katelyn) Sider and loving great grandfather of Aslinn and Rosaleigh Sider. Loving brother of Norma Porta, Marge Boulware, Linda Sider, Chuck Sider, Daniel Sider and Janet Sider. Butch will be lovingly remembered by his former companion Donna Woodhouse and friend Keli Josephine. Predeceased by his parents John and Vera (nee Coyle) Sider, siblings Donald, Arnold, Helen, Gary, Judy, Larry, Fred and in-laws Rose Sider and Fred Porta. Butch was a true outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, ATVing and all things outdoors. He was a quiet man but always loved to share a good story. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Tuesday May 21, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A Celebration of his Life will be held Wednesday May 22nd at 10:30 am at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
