

Born in New Britain, CT, he was the son of the late Angelo and Alfia Mandolfo. He was raised in New Britain and served honorably in the US Navy.
Jim was the sales manager of Plainville Wayside Furniture for 25 years. Later in life, Jim pursued his passion for sailing and spending time at the shore with friends and family.
Not a Saturday went by without Jim and Millie in their convertible searching out the best tag sales in town.
Jim will also always be remembered for his incredible woodworking skills. Whether he was building a family member a beautiful piece of furniture or even one of the many homes he built, his talent was apparent in everything he created.
Besides his devoted wife of 61 years, he is survived by his three children, Jayne Turek and her husband Thomas and their daughters, Sara and Lauren of Woodbury; Elizabeth Pistritto and her children Nina, Michael and Christopher of Bolton, CT; and James Mandolfo and his wife Debbie and their son Ethan of Haddam Neck.
Jim is also survived by his sister Sarah Corsino of Kensington, CT and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday Sept. 7th at 11am in St. Agnes Church, 22 Haigh Ave., Niantic, CT. Memorial contributions in Jim's name may be made to the ASPCA, Attn.
