Lena Soucy

She was born on November 6, 1923, in Southington, the daughter of Bernard and Assunta Orofino Fusciello.

Lena was employed for 41 years as a cook manager at Edna Stevens School in Cromwell.

She is survived by her son Denis Soucy and his wife Sandra of Marlborough; her daughters Gail Weiner and her husband Mike and Sandi Bonomi both of Fla.; her sisters Carmella Peruti of Westbrook, Louise Dembiezack of Southington and Ann Aiudi and her husband Roger of Fla.; her grandchildren Danielle Dabkowski and her husband Steve and Paul Soucy and his wife Annya all of NC; and her great grandson Benjamin Soucy. She was predeceased by her siblings Michael Fusciello and Kay Tompkins.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Friday Jan. 7th at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Lake Ave., Niantic. A calling hour will be held for one hour prior to the service from 10-11am at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
