Beverly Carmouche Lousteau, born April 9, 1921 in St. Rose, LA, died peacefully on August 22, 2018 at the age of 97. She was a long-time resident of Norco, LA before moving to Baton Rouge in her final years. She is survived by her daughter Sue Lousteau Gisclair and husband Nathan (Docky), her son Stephen Michael Lousteau and wife Mary, as well as six grandchildren, Trey Gisclair, Michelle Gisclair, Jeanne-Marie Gisclair LaRue (Dean), Jean-Paul Gisclair (Lauren), Jeffrey Lousteau (Mallory) and Jennifer Lousteau Schilling (Seth). Beverly’s four great grandchildren include Mary-Claire and Thomas LaRue, Kate Schilling, and Camille Lousteau. Preceding her in death was her husband of 58 years, Etienne Joseph Lousteau, her parents Chanel P. Carmouche and Yola Cambre Carmouche, her three brothers Ronald, Louis and Terrel Carmouche, and one sister, Lois Lagarde. She has two surviving sisters, Mae Salemi and Mildred Price. The focus of her life was devoted to faith and family and she was a longstanding member of Sacred Heart Parish. Visitation will be from 9am to 10am on Saturday September 8 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norco, LA, followed by a Mass of Cristian Burial at 10am.
