I had the pleasure and honor of meeting Mr. and Mrs. Landeche through my friendship with their grandson Ryan. It was a great joy and treasured experience to be allowed into their home and welcomed as if I had always belonged there; I never felt a stranger, even from our very first meeting. 

Due to the warm and familiar atmosphere the Landeches cultivated within their household, I was often fondly reminded of my own dearly departed grandmother, who hailed from New Iberia. Mr. Landeche was the definition of class and poise, and carried himself with both dignity and humility, embodying those Christian virtues we should all seek to emulate, something he naturally expressed as veritable second nature. 

He always made sure to spare a kind word or well meaning inquiry any time we encountered one another at any extended gathering of family and friends, and I will always be thankful to have been granted the boon of his company.

 It is a genuine privilege and blessing to have known him and spent time in his realm of expertise, whether it happened to be helping with lawn and garden care, or simply taking in a television program together on a hot Summer day. 

Go with God good sir, and may we meet again someday at heaven’s gate!

Aldoph has left a lifetime of memories for ALL to cherish n remember.  We thank him for his service to our country. We will keep all of you in our prayers.

His was a life well lived!  Clarence and Faye were tireless supporters of the SCB Rite of Christian Initiation-RCIA. They participated from the days of sitting on old donated sofas to share their faith beliefs. Clarence is especially remembered for his portrayal of an angel speaking the gospel text from memory of the empty tomb after the crucification of Jesus. He would come out from behind an old crumbling brick tomb in our nearby SCB cemetery.  Prayers for him and his family. Henry and Arleen

I am so sorry to hear Mr. Landeche has passed away. I was his neighbor in Destrehan for over 30 years. I wrote a feature about his military service in The L0bserbateur several years ago. He was always so kind to me. My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family.

With a heavy heart I lost my precious cousin. We loved him dearly as we know he loved us also.  Such a great man, he will ne missed.

Clarence was a dear friend who supported our church for so many years by giving his work and his life to so many ministries. There was never a time when he was not eager to help . He and his sweet wife, Fay, were some of the first who welcomed us when we became part St Charles Borromeo Church family.  We loved him dearly and will surely miss him
