Emelia Benoit Alleman

Emelia Benoit Alleman passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023 at the age of 77. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles “CJ” Joseph Alleman. Mother of Conrad James Alleman (Jeanne), Nina Alleman Ockman (Brant), Gwendolyn Alleman Henderson (Miles), and the late Juanita Marie Alleman. Grandmother of Dustin Ockman (Laci), Dillon Ockman, Kelsey DeWint, Trent DeWint, Conrad Alleman II, Brittany Buras, and Ty Henderson, as well as the late Brandon Ockman and Drake Henderson. Great-grandmother of Kai Ockman, Luka Ockman, Noah Arevelo, Luis Borge III, and Ben Borge. Daughter of the late Maeneil and Nina Benoit. Daughter-in-law of the late Wilson Alleman Sr. and Rita Alleman. Sister of Gloria Robert, Carlton Benoit, Wanda Bailey, Trudy Goodwin, Elaine Benoit, and Charlene Andras.

She loved spending time with her family and getting out of the house, regardless of the destination. She was a kind person who always had a smile on her face.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1 Rectory Ln, Hahnville, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM with a funeral Mass to begin at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Catholic Cemetery in Des Allemands.
