Eric Anthony Schexnaydre

He was the beloved husband of Toni Waguespack Schexnaydre. Son of the late Huey L. Schexnaydre and Janet L. Kitchens of Mc Comb, MS. Father of Eric “Buck” A. Schexnaydre, Jr. (Barbara) of Norco, LA, Blake “Duke” S. Schexnaydre of New Sarpy, LA, Kyle “Yodie” A. Schexnaydre (Raelyn) of New Sarpy, LA, and Baylee “Rosie” R. Schexnaydre (Nathan) of New Sarpy, LA. Grandfather of Mandy L. Schexnaydre, Karley L. Schexnaydre, Leah L. Schexnaydre, and Harley R. Stoll. Brother of Nathan J. Schexnaydre (Kim) and Randall J. Schexnaydre (Sonya). He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Debra W. McArthur (Ronnie), life-long best friends, Michael “Flibby” Rollinson and Chase “Chaselyn” LeBlanc, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by by his in-laws, Albert “Wogger” and Carol “Granny Carol” Waguespack.

Eric was the owner of River Town Gutters since 1988 and a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan, LA. He was an avid fisherman and loved to go hunting with his family and friends on his property in Mississippi, that he referred to as “The Country.” He was loved and cherished by his family and friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Barbara Bonstaff and the staff of St. Catherine Hospice for their care and compassion.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Destrehan, LA. Visitation will be held from 12 PM – 1:30 PM with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 1:30 PM. Interment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum.
