Florine C. McKinney

Florine C. McKinney, loving wife of the late James Howard McKinney, passed away May 14, 2016. She is survived by her children; James Alan McKinney (Christine) and Kimberly McKinney Willey (Matthew), her grandchildren; Tyler James Willey and Parker McKinney Willey, her sister Mary Sue Rye, and three brothers-in-law; James Cato, Clifford McKinney, and Harlan Duhon. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Guy Cheatham and Clarine Cheatham Palmer, and her sisters Illa Nell Duhon and Pat Hildebrandt.

Florine was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Norco Happy Homemakers Club. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Charles United Methodist Church in Destrehan, LA on Friday, May 20, 2016 beginning at 10 AM, a service will begin at 12 PM with interment following immediately after at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan, LA.
