Juanita Antonia Gendron Woodruff passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020. She was 98 years old and a resident of Luling, Louisiana. She was the daughter of the late George and Alice Gendron. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of more than 50 years, William "Bill" Woodruff, her sons Charles Woodruff, Thomas Woodruff, David Woodruff, her daughter, Laura Woodruff, and her daughter-in-law, Karen Woodruff. She is survived by her daughters Patricia Hymel (Roland, deceased), Peggy Gatti (Frank, deceased), Alicia Zeringue (Terry “Ira”), and her sons William "Billy" Woodruff (Nelda) and Richard Woodruff. She also leaves nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to rearing nine children, she was an active volunteer at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, the St. Charles Hospital and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Luling American Legion.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Luling Living Center for their loving care of her in her last years.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 234 Angus Dr. Luling, LA.
