Laverne Lemoine passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2026, in Denham Springs, Louisiana. Born in Mississippi, native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of the Ormond subdivision in Destrehan, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who treasured her family above all else and enjoyed gardening, playing tennis and doing her crafts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Lemoine, and her son, Wayne Lemoine. She is survived by her children, Kenny Lemoine (Vickie), Karen Lemoine, Connie Torres (George), and (Karen Lacour Lemoine); 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to a gathering on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at HC Alexander Funeral Home, 22 Apple St., Norco, LA 70079, followed by a prayer service. Burial services will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery.
