Dad,
  My memories are plentiful. Getting up at 2:00am just to go crawfishing or crabbing is one of them.You are in my heart and always in my thoughts. You were there with open arms everytime I returned home from the service. It doesn't seem real that you are not here on earth with us, but I know you are with God and are happy.One day we will all be in heaven together.You are sadly missed very much by me and all your love ones.I am honored to have shared my 51st birthday with your 76th birthday. I Love You DAD.

Dearest T-Boy,

It's hard to believe that you've exited this world. Although I've known of you for many years (through family) I really didn't get to know "you" personally until a short six months ago.  I enjoyed seeing you by your garden, how I miss your warm smile and you waving me off as I left for work early in the morning.  When evening came we'd sometimes engage in conversation and it was these times that I held a special place for you in my heart.  You always made me feel like family.  You always made a point to tell me that whatever was in the garden was also mine for the taking.  You were truly a wonderul and unique individual.  A person that has truly touched my heart and someone that I will always love and remember.  By the way, your garden looks awesome, Frank is maintaining it well!  You will truly be missed by ALL!  My sincere condolences go out to the entire Roussel family for your loss.

Dad, you are and will be always in my heart. I think of you everyday and miss you very much. I will always have the memories of our family while growing up and most of the lessons I learned the hard way. All families have the good and the not so good, but from all of these I'm most blessed by learning forgiveness. I mostly have you Dad to thank for that. Real forgiveness from my heart will be my most treasured gift from you, Dad. Thank You. I love now and always. I pray you found peace and  you are where you need to be. Until I see you and all my loved ones, I LOVE YOU DAD.

Paw Paw, you will forever be etched in my heart.  I miss you so much!!!  There are no words to describe this void in my heart since you have been gone.  I remember when I was in college at SLU, I would come sleep over and spend the weekends with you and we would pick the okra and beans out the garden.  I miss hanging out with you.  I wish I could turn back the hands of time.  But it was all in God's timing and am so grateful to Him for answering our prayers and bringing you back to us.  Even if it was only for 6 months.  I love you Paw!  I miss hearing you blow those acorns and watching for me and Mom while we went walk down the levee.  I miss telling you, "Goodnight Paw, I love you" and you telling me, "Goodnight baby, I love you too."  I'm so sorry I didn't get to say goodbye one last time.  Til we meet again, goodbye Paw, I love you!

I always think about the things we did and had fun doing when we were kids. I even had fun when we were working in the fields. I'll always remember the times when Donald and I and the kids went to visit you and Elmer Ann and the children in Norco and she would cook for us and it was always something good. I also remember the times I would visit you, Faye Lynne and Frank in Laplace before you went away. I really enjoyed that. We had some good visits. I'll never forget the time at Christmas when I helped you make the roux for the gumbo and we had to start all over again with a new roux. That was a blast, T-boy. I'll miss that.

God, there are not enough words that can express my thankfulness to You for bringing our Daddy home to spend his last 6 months of his earthly life with his children, where you knew he belonged. It was a joy to serve my Daddy only because of You, Lord, have blessed me with Your strength to do so. Dad, I will miss talking with you, learning from you, serving you coffee and meals, taking turns making each other toast in the morning, cooking with you, reminding you to take your medication, even the nights I would bring it to you after you went to bed, because you forgot and the lists goes on and on. The most important gift that overrides all of this is the opportunity that God gave me to speak His truth and love to you about HIM, the One who created you. I miss you with all of my heart but my heart will always be satisfied knowing that the last days of your earthly life were spent with us.

I not only lost a father but also my best friend. So many great memories. From a child with him teaching me about life to an adult with him teaching me how to be a man. And all the other things that he probably should not have taught me.
Hunting in Mississippi is one of my best memories with Daddy. He bagged so many deer and never had to skin a one of them because he knew I was coming home soon.
I am going to miss all the stories he told me about his childhood and stories about life in general.
It will be the memories of you, our family and my family that will help ease the pain of losing you until we can see you again in heaven.
I love you daddy.

  I will miss Pawpaw alot. I can remember when I was a boy I would use the back of Pawpaw`s truck and pretend I was in a boat. He didn`t mind if I was throwing rope with washers and bolts tied to the end, over the side of his old Dodge.I could write a whole book with everything he showed me how to do. He was great Grandpaw. I will never forget him.

I was sorry to hear of T-Boy's passing. I have many memories of holidays and family gatherings with him. I will be keeping the whole Roussel clan in my thoughts all day Saturday.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle T-Boy. The thing I remember most about him were his gardens.  I was always in awe at the size of his garden and the wonderful produce he grew. I know that you all will miss your Dad very much. Sorry that I won't be able to make the drive over for the services.

I am sorry to hear of your lost. Curtis and I were just talking about him.  I remember how much T-Boy loved to dance.

I remember most stories told of daddy, always getting into trouble and his sisters would try to take the blame, but his dad knew it was T-Boy. He would tell us his dad would cut a switch to pee-lay him. 

Once he tried to take a hatchet or axe and see how close he could come to cutting my Aunt's toe nail. She never felt a thing, but looked down and saw all the blood because the tip of her toe was cut and she freaked out. They still tried to cover for him. 

He would swim in the Mississippi River and get caught and faced retribution for it. 

Once he was to buy a bottle of wine from the store for an Aunt, but he drank the whole bottle before he got home.

My Aunt Emily (Butch) use to write love letters to my mom from my dad because she felt my mom would be good for him.
