She was retired from the St. Charles Parish School Board office. She was a loving mother, devout Catholic, and avid Saints and LSU fan who will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by sons Michael Mondy (wife Tami) and Norman Mondy; daughters Susan Oakland and Karen Laney (husband David); and grandchildren William, Rachel, and Scott; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leopold and Josephine Ristroph; brothers Paul, J.D., John, and Leo Ristroph; sisters Claire Blaufuss, Erlyne Madere, and Rita Labry.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 16 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Hahnville, with funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
