Poliska “Polly” Montz Bourg passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 79. She was a native of Norco, LA, and a resident of LaPlace, LA for over 40 years. She spent the last several years at Walden Health Center in Kenner, LA. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leo Bourg, and her parents, Daniel and Bernice Montz. Polly is survived by her daughter, Lisa Specht (Guy), and her grandchildren, Dustin Specht (Becky), Hunter Specht (Caitlyn), and Hailey Western (Connor). She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Dustin, Mikkaela, Grayson, & Ryann Kate; sisters, Karen Landry and Lorna Boies, nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
Polly was a 1962 graduate of Destrehan High School and Spencer Business College. She retired from Nalco in Garyville after 20 years of service.
Per Polly’s wishes, private services will be held.
