Violet Rita (Caillouet) Simoneaux

Violet Rita Caillouet Simoneaux was called home to be with her sons Lil Ron and Stacy on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the age of 85. Violet was born on July 3, 1940 in Garyville, LA. She was a native of New Sarpy, LA, a longtime resident of Point Noir, LA, an area near Church Point, LA and a resident of LaPlace, LA for the past 8 years.

Violet was an outstanding artist in oil, pencil, and pastels. She was also a very accomplished pilot who loved aerobatics and unusual attitude flying.

Violet was preceded in death by her sons, Lil Ron and Stacy Simoneaux; her parents, Albert and Palmire Brignac Caillouet, her siblings, Mary Ellen, A. J., Stanford (Judith) Caillouet, and Hilda Adams (Raymond); and her in-laws, Edgar and Aline Beaugh Simoneaux.

Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Ronnie K. Simoneaux; and her siblings, Warner (Brenda) Caillouet and Brenda (Wes) Richard. Also survived by her sister-in-law, Georgia Caillouet and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 22 Apple St., Norco, LA on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 from 10:00am until 12:00pm. Funeral services will begin in the chapel at 12:00pm. Interment will follow in St. Charles Borromeo Church Cemetery in Destrehan, LA.
