

Wanda “Faye” Lovetro Wagner passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on September 27, 2022 at the age of 84. Loving wife of the late Larry L. Wagner. Mother of Laura Wagner (Mark Pfister), Marla Mautemps (David), Pamela Ryan (Randall), and the late David Wagner (Kay). Grandmother of Blaine Wagner (Malorie), Kyle Wagner (Sophia), Holly Dauzat (Jared), Olivia Marcel (Tyler), Quinn Mautemps (Meredith), Garrett Mautemps (Krystal Abate), Katelyn Ryan, and Alicia Ryan. Great-grandmother of Waylynn Wagner, David Wagner, Wrynn Wagner, Everett Marcel, and Myles Mautemps. Daughter of the late Charles Lovetro and Elma Mae Keating Lovetro. Sister of Caralen Rupert, Charles Lovetro, Jr., Trudy Peltier, and Keven Lovetro. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and family members.
Faye worked for Shell Oil for 23 years, was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, and a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Post 366. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt, who will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her.
The family wishes to thank her sitters, Genevieve, Mikeisha, Ernestine, and TeeTee for all the wonderful care she received, as well as Notre Dame Hospice, especially Malindann, Ann Marie, and Bonnie for all their care and compassion during this time.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, September 30, 2022 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 13396 River Rd. Destrehan, LA; beginning at 12PM with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30AM.
