William Randolph McClung

He was a hardworking and reliable man, spending his time working as a stationary engineer until he was unable to anymore. William was an avid Saints fan, almost never missing a game and was proud to represent his team wearing black and gold. He wasn’t just a good friend, Saints’ fan, father, or brother. Many knew him to be quite opinionated, passionate, charismatic, and a jokester! In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, watching football, and staying faithful to his beliefs.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Kathleen Dennis and William Lyle McClung, his brother, Walter Richard McClung and brother-in-law, Larry Norton Sr. He is survived by his children, Christian McClung (Alise) and Heather Devall (Trey), his siblings, Kathy Norton, Michael McClung (Kelly), Edythe “Chrissy” McClung, Bonnie Billiot (Byron), Sean McClung (Amy) and Godson Ridge Oddo, as well as many nieces and nephews. William was looking forward to meeting his first grandchild early next year. Baby McClung was already loved greatly by their Paw Paw. His memory will be shared with the youngest McClung upon their arrival into the family.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home, 821 4th St. Norco, LA. Visitation will be held from 9AM – 11AM with a Celebration of Life to begin at 11AM.
