

Blanche Page Kujovsky entered into her heavenly home on March 5, 2012. She was born in Suffolk, Va. and was the last surviving child of the late Mark D. and Arah Taylor Bradshaw. She was married to the late Frank H. Conklin and the late Retired Lt. Col. Phillip T. Kujovsky. Blanche worked as a bridal consultant and wedding coordinator for Rice’s Department Store. She also was the wedding coordinator for her church, St. Pius X Catholic Church. She was a member of the Retired Officer’s Wives Club and the Christian Women’s Club. Also, she enjoyed modeling and meeting with her “Ya Ya Sisters” and the “Forever Young Lunch Group.” Left to cherish her memory are her much beloved daughters, Cheryl Conklin Smith and Pamela Conklin Power. Her pride and joy were her four grandchildren: Caroline Hester, Pam Zeher and husband Mike, Joshua Smith and wife Tina, Sherry Dillard and husband Dill. Also, great-grandchildren: Christina, Abby, Hayley, Taylor, Mickey, Zachary and Hayden. Blanche dearly loved her family, special friends and heavenly father. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She also wanted to express her appreciation to Sentara Hospice who treated her with such kindness; in particular: Kyra Taylor Young, Centura Lewis and Richard Moon, Chaplain.
A service will be held Saturday, March 10, at 1:30 p.m. in Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Foundation for Cancer Research, P.O. Box 17287 Baltimore, MD 21297-1287.
