Cari Lynn Hick

Cari Lynn Hick, 44, went to be with the Lord on November 7, 2017. She was a native of Oklahoma, but a resident of Norfolk for 16 years. Cari was a faithful and active member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She worked for the City of Norfolk, making maps in the GIS Department. Her greatest joy in life was her son, Jack, whom she loved with all her heart. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Jerry Lee and Carol Lynn Harris; her loving husband of 16 years, Shawn Michael Hick; her son, John "Jack" Joseph Hick; brother, Juston Lee Harris; sister, Casey Lane Harris; in-laws, Donald Dean and Mary Margaret Hick; sister-in-law, Shannon Elizabeth Marsh; and niece-in-law, Brianna Arvella Marsh. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church.
