Catherine Lucille McCabe

Catherine Lucille McCabe, 92, of Virginia Beach the wife of the late Earl Walter McCabe, departed this life on Saturday, May 14, 2022. She was born June 15, 1929. Catherine was known to be very loving, patient, kind, and caring. Catherine also loved playing bingo. She was preceded in death by two of her children Walter McCabe and Dianne Carpenter. She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Daniel McCabe (Marcia); six grandchildren: Allen, Glen, Misty, Thomas, Brandon, and Kevin; two great grandchildren: Austin and Easton; siblings: Margaret Burnette and Bobby Cribb; and a host of other loving family members and sympathetic friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 26, 2022 in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home with an entombment to follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens' Mausoleum. A public visitation will begin at 1:00 pm prior to the funeral ceremony. In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions may be donated to an organization or charity of your choice.
