

Charles Edward Bullock, Sr. (Chuck) passed away January 10, 2026, at age 93. Chuck was born in Greenville, North Carolina to Evelyn and Clyde Bullock. The family moved to Newport News, Virginia in 1941 where he attended Parkview Elementary School and Warwick High School—from which he graduated. He served in the United States Army and spent his tour in Germany where he met his wife Sara Marbeth Morgan, daughter of Lt. Col. Charlie E. A. and Margaret (Peg) Morgan. Chuck and Sara were married in 1956 at Fort Story, Virginia.
Chuck retired from the Xerox Corporation in 1994 in Washington D.C. He served on the Board of the Xerox Retirees of the Mid-Atlantic region for 10 years. He was a member of the Arlington Centennial - Glebe Masonic Lodge No. 81 in Arlington, Virginia and was also a member of the Fairfax, Virginia Kena Shriners Organization. He was a past President of the Capitol Hill Junior Chamber of Commerce in Washington D. C. He was a professional baseball player in the Pittsburgh Pirates minor league system. He retired early from baseball due to an injury.
Chuck moved from Arlington, Virginia where he had lived for 53 years to Virginia Beach, Virginia in 2014. He had most recently resided in Hampton, Virginia at Chamberlin Senior Living.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Sara Morgan Bullock. He is survived by their two sons, Charles Bullock, Jr. of Hampton, Virginia and Paul Bullock of Jefferson Township, Pennsylvania. Chuck is also survived by his sister Betty Anne Foster of Falmouth, Maine, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Chuck requested memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Hospital for Children or Shriners Children’s.
