Virginia Beach Charles Lester Pearce, Jr., age 82, passed away Dec. 16, 2011. He retired from the U. S. Navy after 27 years of faithful service and was a volunteer fireman with Virginia Beach for 23 years at London Bridge, Station 3. Charles was a member of the American Legion and a former tow truck driver. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Juanita Pearce, three sons, Duane, James"Peanut" and Richard A. Pearce all of Virginia Beach, one daughter, Robin Adkins (Ralph) of Wildomar, CA. Grandchildren, Eric Adkins, Jessica Cook(Mike), Chris Pearce, Crystal Sanchez(Carlos) and Carrie Brusletten(Jeremy). Great grandchildren, Felix E. Sanchez, Alyson Adkins, Kiarra Cook, Katilyn Cook and Evan Adkins. Graveside services will be held 1 PM Friday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens 6309 E.
