Edward Hoosack

Norfolk – Edward M. Hoosack, 88, passed on Father’s Day, June 19th. He was a proud Army veteran of Pearl Harbor and the Normandy Invasion. He was also a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association, Azalea Baptist Church Smile Club, and St. Pius X Church. He retired from C&P Telephone Company after 39 years.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; 3 sons, Carl, Charles and Danny; a daughter, Victoria Corbin; brother, Eugene Hoosack; sister, Eleanor Hoosack; and many grand and great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his beloved best friend, Popi, his dog.

Visitation will be at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norview Chapel from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, June 23rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Friday at St. Pius X Church. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Norfolk SPCA.
