

He was the eldest son of Macario & Pantaleona Europa. From an early age, Ernesto carried a strong sense of responsibility and devotion to family. After the passing of his father, he became a pillar of support for his widowed mother, helping raise and guide his nine younger siblings with dedication and care. His devotion to family remained one of the defining qualities of his life.
Sometime in his twenties, Ernesto joined the United States Navy where he served with honor and dedication. His time in service reflected the same discipline, courage and resilience that characterized his life.
Ernesto was known for his generous heart and selfless spirit. Beyond supporting his immediate family, he extended kindness and assistance to others. He helped send one of his nieces to pursue her education.
He was married to the late Jean M. Europa, with whom he shared many years of companionship and love. After a couple of years as a widower, Ernesto continued to find joy in life with a special relationship with Trina Sucgang built through countless music and dances which remained a meaningful and cherised part of his later years.
Ernesto will be remembered for his strength and unwavering dedication to family. His legacy of generosity, service and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
