Ricky was a friendly person who never met a stranger. He loved to talk and always had a story to tell. He lived his life enjoying the simplest pleasures. He loved being home where he could cook, listen to his music, watch movies and his favorite westerns. He was a hard worker and spent most of his career as a painter in the construction field and was most recently employed with Imperial Supply Company for the past 3 years.
Above all, he loved spending time with his family, chatting on the phone and never missed attending a family event.
Left to cherish his memory are sisters; Freida Comstock, Patty Reed (Jim) and Christine Tyer (Rob); nephew & friend Kevin Murphy in addition to a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, Jan. 28, 2019, 1:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk VA. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.woodlawnnorfolk.com
