Norfolk- James Richard Neaves, Jr., 59, passed away November 17, 2009 at his residence. He was a graduate of Norview High School, served in the United States Marine Corp, and worked as a landscaper for over 40 years. Richard loved to watch football, Nascar, and Sci Fi movies. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, and had a passion for being around people and animals.
Richard is predeceased by his father James Richard Neaves, Sr. and his grandparents Jean and Fred Eckert. He is survived by his mother Billy J. Neaves; two sons Matthew Neaves and his wife Yashika, and Daniel Jacob Neaves and his wife Michelle; and two grandsons Samuel Elijah and David Jacob Neaves.
A visitation will be held Sunday, November 22, from 6 to 8 PM in Woodlawn Funeral Home. A service will follow, Monday, November 23, at 11 AM in Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel, 6329 E.
