Hello Darling,

Not quite the way you have always said it, however, I can hear your voice from every conversation, every text, and even every email saying to me “Hello Darling.” We fought side by side against, well you know who, it always seemed like it was you and I, with a few allies, to make it through work and life. When you got sick, I remember us looking at each other and said ok, we fight together, we laugh together, and baby you did that. You fought it and what a fight you gave it. I will never say you “lost” the fight, because Darling, you did not lose it, you fought and what a battle you won. I really have no words. I know what you are saying that you can’t believe, I don’t have any words to say, but it’s true. I am forcing myself to recall and type one of the many memories we shared that could possibly make everyone laugh or chuckle or smile, and truth is, this time, I am overwhelmed. I never saw you as just my coworker, I saw you as my beautiful friend, and now I see you as my guardian angel, Love. 

To your family: There are no words that can convey a great loss such as Julie. Her heart, her soul, and her love was so genuine that she is not, gone, she is here, with all of you. She will always be with each and every single one of you.

Momma, 
We are going to a Memorial today & I can't believe it's yours. I hope you passed peacefully, knowing what an amazing, loving, hardworking, wonderful Mother & friend you've been to me, even if I sometimes didn't show it. I really hope to be able to be the same kind of mom to Grace. This past 3 weeks have been a blur of emotional sadness & uncertainty, as we spoke very little after I left. I was never ever going to be ready or accepting of your passing, even though I was sure I'd know how I'd feel. You are too much a part of me & have stayed with me, always, even if I was across the ocean or in a different state. We have a special bond. 

I'll miss your English like words you use at times and the way it sounds when you speak them, like saying "Okay Love" to a total stranger & them thinking you are sweet on them.  I'll miss you calling me, "Munchie" & I'll even miss you calling me, "Tina Marie", only when I'm in trouble. I'll miss our pedicures, lunch dates & venting to you about life even when my problems were never really problem. I'll miss that way you sing your favorite songs & how great you did sing. I'll miss you singing, "Round and Round The Garden" to Grace & making her smile & laugh uncontrollably. I'll miss you being apart of her life physically. I'll miss your freckles on your back & I'll miss your dinners, like Pot Roast or Shepard's Pie & making you an "Egg Mayonnaise" sandwich only with 'real Mayo.' I'll miss going to Nawab on the weekend for lunch. I'll miss your love & pride you display for your country, when you are telling me stories of your young adult life. I'll miss you signing letters or texting 'xox' when ending the letter or conversation. I'll miss you always being straight forward & giving me the realest but most honest advice, whether I wanted to hear it or not. I'll miss your kind words, open heart & selflessness, even in the end. I'll miss your embracing hugs. You're one in a million, Momma.

Gonna miss you! It was always nice to see you when I came to visit. 

My dearest little sis there may have been miles of space between us but my love for you filled every mile.  Julie you were my best friend and beautiful Sister we shared so many happy memories growing up as tiny girls into young ladies. 
I remember how though you were the youngest,  you always were my little minder. 
Julie I have so many things I want to say though I realise these will stay forever in my heart.  
When I think of you I smile and in my mind I sing our favourite song 'Build me up Buttercup'.

Momma Julie, 
Growing up I had the pleasure of knowing this women, as another mother. She always welcomed me with amazing food and good laughs. I always remember me and Vanessa trying to get back into the house normally later than we were supposed to and no matter how quite we were she’d always let us know she knew we were there.  Me and momma shared some conversations when she got sick, that I will always hold my word too. She was amazing mother, and wife but one thing I loved seeing most was her being a nana she was one in a million. Julie you will be missed but your love and light will shine through you kids and grandkids. I already see so much of you in Crit 💖 
Robert, (dad) so sorry for your loss biggest hugs to your during this time. I know this doesn’t make it better but one day this will get easier and knowing she’s resting peacefully and no longer having to fight this ugly battle.
I pray for comfort for the family in the coming days as you move forward life will be different but just live through her everyday and keep her close. Love you guys! Rest In Peace momma 

My heart goes out to my brother Robert and his family for the loss of his wife and their mother , Julie . Julie was a kind-hearted woman and I'm very proud to say she was my sister in law. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. RIP Jules
