

Karen Paris Haddox, 52 passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on October 4, 2012. Karen was preceded in death by her parents George Ralph Paris, Lillie “Bunny” Daniel, step Father Barry “Pete” Daniel, Sr., brother Warren Paris, Father-in- law Donald Eugene Haddox, brother-in-law Gregory Robert Haddox. Survivors include her loving husband Wayne Patrick Haddox of 24 years, two sons Jonathan and Brandan Wayne Haddox, a sister Kimberly Ann Gilbert and husband Bill; two step brothers Dan and Barry Daniel, her mother-in-law Patricia Jean Haddox, a brother-in-law Donald Michael Haddox and two sister-in-laws Sue Paris and Cynthia Cook and husband Bud, goddaughter Caitlyn Rene Baker, nieces and nephews, Justin and Ashley Gilbert, Gerald Paris, Erin Merrow, Donald Michael, Christopher and Caitlyn Haddox. Karen was an Export team leader, Philip Morris Account at The Hipage Company for twenty years. She was an avid animal lover, especially the Eagles at Norfolk Botanical Gardens, a member of the Tidewater Eagle Nesties, and supporter of The Wildlife Center of Virginia. A celebration of Karen’s life will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2012, 3:00 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norview Chapel. A reception will follow in the funeral home.
