Kathleen M. Palmer, 79, of Chesapeake, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2007 in a local health care facility. Married Albert A. Palmer in January of 1947 and he predeceased her on January 16, 1999. Kathleen was an avid New York Yankee's fan. She is survived by four sons, William "Bill" Palmer and his wife, Brenda, Raymond E. Palmer, Steven L. Palmer, and Thomas A. Palmer, all of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her faithful companion, Lady Bug. A celebration of Kathleen's life will be held 10:30 AM, Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at the graveside in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Jeff Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8:00 PM, Monday, October 29, 2007 in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E.
