It is with great honor we announce that Kathleen Parrish Roper has gone home to the Lord. She laid her heart to rest and departed this plane on 4.4.26 at approximately 5:30am after visiting each of her children in spirit. Kathi lived a beautiful life caring for others, often before caring for herself—truly walking the walk.
Kathi is survived by her husband, David Roper Sr, her children, Ray Lester (Paige Lester), Sara Niece, and Brittany Niece (Kyle Zeltmann), as well as her chosen children, Shannon Roper Hamm (Jarrett Hamm) and David Roper Jr (Belinda Roper), her seven grandchildren, and many loved ones in her extended family. In addition to her family, Kathi is survived by every soul she’s ever touched, whether it be through hospice work, real estate, prison ministry, or simply running into someone on the street.
One thing is for sure: Kathi’s spirit was one of celebration, and we will be honoring her life in the same fashion. There will be a Celebration of Life held in the coming weeks, check back for more details.
