Avon- "Lenny" Glen Moser, 17, a loving son and grandson passed away July 10, 2007. A 12th grader at Cape Hatteras High School loved spending time with his friends, working at the pool and going to the beach with his dog, Willie. Lenny was born and lived in Virginia Beach, Va. until age 14. He was cheerful, kind and always worried about others. He is proceded in death by his grandmother, Diane Carpenter, and Uncle, Jim Reece, and is survived by his mother, Sandra Carpenter of Avon , NC; father, Glen Carpenter of Va Beach, grannie, Brenda Jennette of Avon, NC; Grandfather, Robert Moser of Chesapeake; grandparents, Leonard and Leslie Carpenter of Va Beach; great- grandparents, Earl and Catherine McCabe and Belle MacMillan of Va. Beach; and host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Later this month a memorial service will be held on the beach in Avon, NC. A funeral will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday July 14, 2007 in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, with Dr. Raymond Fulayter officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8:00 PM, Friday, July 13 at the funeral home.
