She is survived by her daughters Kathy (Richard) Horton and Patti Bray; grandchildren, Michelle Conley, Jamie Horton, Connie Perkins and Josie Bray; great-grand-children, Lafayette, Tove and Jackpine Perkins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, James Bray; and a daughter, Terrie Stinski.
Mary enjoyed golfing, traveling, reading and scrapbooking. She attended Westwood Hill Baptist Church in Virginia Beach for 30 years, First Baptist Church of Lake Alfred in Florida for 30 years and First Baptist Church in Elizabeth City, NC, for two years.
The family will receive friends and family at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 with visitation at 11 am, followed by services at noon.
