Norfolk ~ Mary Helen Head Cervero, 82, went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2007. she was born in Hiddenite, N.C. to the late Burke and Hortense Head. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Vincent James Cervero; her son, Robert and his wife, Sophia, of Lafayette, CA; daughter, Louise, of Norfolk; four grandchildren, Jeff, Christopher, Alexandria, and Kristen; sister, Elizabeth Taylor of Milwaukee; brother, Jack Head of Hiddenite. She is predeceased by a brother, Allen Head of New Orleans. A christian woman who enjoyed helping others. Mary was a prayer counselor at CBN for 19 years. She attended the Virginia Beach Community Chapel for many years and was a founding member of Third Presbyterian Church of Norfolk. Funeral arrangements with Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E.
