Mary V. Seitz

Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 12pm in Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel in Norfolk. Visitation will be on Friday, January 18, 2013 from 6-8pm at Woodlawn.

Mary was born May 4, 1918 in Bristol, TN a daughter of the late Peter Coleman Fallin and the late Flora Lee Adkins Fallin. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, A.T. Seitz, Jr. and by her siblings.

Surviving are her daughters, Bobbie (Jimmy) Wilkerson of Ocean Springs, MS; Denise (Danny) Beachum of Wadesboro, NC; Mary Jeanne (Randy) Doran and Debbie (Jay) Snyder both of Chesapeake, VA; her grandchildren, Pam (Jimmy) Watson and Chris (Cindy) Wilkerson both of Mansfield, TX; Justin (Wanda) Beachum of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Heather (Eric) Thompson of Wilmington, NC; Travis Beachum of Charlotte, NC; Nicholas Wood of Portland, OR; Corey (Vinnie) Perillo, Adam Doran, Fallin Snyder all of Chesapeake, VA and her 9 great-grandchildren.

Mary had been a resident of Meadowview Terrace for 2 years prior to moving to Ambassador Health and Rehab. She dearly loved the friends she made at Meadowview and was especially close to Rose Thomas and Teresa Pope the activities coordinator. The family will always be grateful to Teresa for all she did for their mother and to the staff at Ambassador too, for the loving care they provided most recently.
