Mary Louise Stone

Mary L. Parsons Stone, 91, entered into eternal rest on 1/21/13. She is predeceased by her husband of 68 yrs. Jack E. Stone, and four brothers John R. Jr., Harry E., Paul E. and Aubrey W. Parsons. She was born and raised in the Norview area of Norfolk and attended and graduated from Norview High School; where she met and fell in love with her husband Jack. It was from that union that they had their only son Richard Stone. Mary and her family owned and operated a farm in Hickory Virginia for approximately 7 years. After selling the farm they moved to Norfolk Highlands Section of Chesapeake in 1957. Mary then worked at W. T. Grants in the Indian River Shopping Center. She loved being with family and friends. Mary spent her last years at Sentara Nursing Center on Newtown Rd., Norfolk. She leaves to cherish her memory her son Richard Stone; Sister Nancy Lovelace; Brother Leroy Parsons and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, 1/26/13 at 12pm, private entombment to follow Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk VA 23502.
